The Family That Sticks Together Grows Old Together
Family is the central unit of the society. Some people beg to disagree but to governments, it is a crucial part in the development of nation. The family should not be neglected because it is where everything begins. It is important to think of ways to promote togetherness of the family. The family should be strengthened.
In this case, the government of Singapore is doing its best to think and implement programs that can facilitate togetherness and strengthening of family ties. The National Family Council is in charge for carrying out this task. The council organized events or programs for the family which includes the following:
Celebration of Family Day
Last April 28, 2013, Singapore celebrated the Family Day which was held at the Universal Studios. Thousands of families come together to enjoy the merriment. The activity was a success because families participated to games, activities and other programs. Singaporeans should expect more in the future.
100% Family Roadshow @ JCube
The 100% Family Roadshows seek to engage the family through projects. Projects are funded by Project Superglue-National Family Council. Projects like photo exhibits, multimedia presentations and other artwork displays are available. This event will take place on May 24 to May 26, 2013. The event will be held at JCube (2 Jurong East Central 1, Singapore) from 10:00 am to 10:00pm.
Museums, centres, theme parks and other outdoor activities are imposing admission charges but if you bring your family with you, you can get great deals. The family will surely enjoy every moment of it.
